Information stored on your device

Project and client names, hourly rates, currencies, work dates, durations, unpaid breaks, billing status, running timer state and notes remain in the app’s private device storage. ApexNode does not receive or remotely access this app data. You control what you enter, edit, export and delete.

Files, backups and sharing

The app uses Android’s document picker to access only files you select or destinations you choose. No broad storage, camera, microphone, location, contact, notification or exact-alarm permission is requested. One optional timer calculates elapsed time locally. It survives closing the app without a background service. After a device restart, recovered wall-clock time is marked for review. Timers stop accumulating at 168 hours. ZIP restore adds saved projects and entries but does not restart a timer from the backup. Financial amounts come only from rates and durations entered by the user; the app does not process payments or compute tax or payroll obligations.

ZIP backups preserve editable app data. PDF and CSV exports are readable reports. Restoring a backup adds independent copies to the existing library. No automatic syncing is provided. Files you export or share are handled by your chosen file provider or receiving app, under that provider’s privacy policy. Exported backups are not encrypted by HourDraft; store them in a location you trust.

Retention and deletion

You can delete individual entries in the app. Android’s Clear storage or uninstall removes the app’s private data, including any retained recovery files. Exported or shared copies remain wherever you saved or sent them and must be deleted there separately. Automatic Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled; export a ZIP backup before switching phones or uninstalling.

Support messages

If you email support, your email provider and ours process that message. We receive the address and content you choose to send and use them to respond and resolve the issue. Send only the information needed for support; never send passwords or private signing keys. You can ask us to delete a support conversation, subject to retention needed to resolve the request or comply with applicable obligations.

Purchases

The planned Google Play edition uses a single upfront purchase. Google Play processes payment and manages store licensing and download records under Google’s policies. HourDraft does not receive payment-card details and does not use in-app purchases.

Children

HourDraft is intended for general adult use and is not specifically directed to children. The app does not collect personal information from users.

This website

This static privacy/support page is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. It uses no analytics scripts, advertising or forms. Cloudflare may process technical request information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and protect the website; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Changes

Any policy update will appear here with a revised effective date. A material change to app data handling will be described in the app’s release information.
